Who we are
HollowBright Studios LLC ("HollowBright", "we", "us") is an independent game studio and record label based in Colorado, USA. You can reach us about anything in this policy at dev@hollowbrightstudios.com.
This policy replaces the earlier policy published on the developer's personal website for the same apps. Older store listings that still point there are covered by this page.
Applies to
The short version
- Our games do not require accounts and never ask for your name, email address or contact details.
- Game progress is saved on your device, not on our servers, unless a game's section below says otherwise.
- Some mobile games show optional rewarded ads and send anonymous analytics and crash reports through third-party SDKs. Every SDK is named below, with a link to its own policy.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play, the App Store or Steam. We never see your payment details.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
- You can ask us to delete anything tied to you at any time from the Support page.
This website
hollowbrightstudios.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, loads no analytics, no ad scripts and no social-media embeds. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operations for a short period, as all web hosts do.
If you email us, we keep the thread for as long as it takes to resolve your request and then delete it.
Advertising in mobile games
Some of our mobile games offer optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Watching an ad is always your choice; every game works without it. The ad network may collect, to serve and measure ads:
- your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), which you can reset or limit in your device settings;
- approximate location derived from your IP address, used for regional ad delivery and legal compliance;
- app interaction and diagnostic data, such as which ads were shown and whether they completed, and crash or performance information related to the ad SDK.
Your choices. On iOS, the game asks for tracking permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any cross-app tracking occurs; declining still lets you watch ads, they are just not personalised. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form is shown before ads load and you can change your choice at any time from the game's settings. Google's handling of this data is described in its partner sites policy.
Analytics and crash reports
Where a game uses an analytics or crash-reporting SDK, the data is not linked to your name or any account, and the game never sends anything you type. Typical data includes gameplay events (levels started and finished, boosters used, ads watched), a game summary (highest level, items equipped), an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, session times, and approximate location such as country or region derived from your IP address. Crash reports record the error details and the state of the device at that moment. Each game's section below says exactly which events it sends.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play, the App Store or Steam. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so the game can unlock it, and nothing else. We do not collect, process or have access to your card number, billing name or payment details. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from; see the Support page.
Leaderboards and online features
Where a game has an online leaderboard, it stores the tag or username you chose and your scores so they can be shown to other players. No email address or real name is needed. If a game adds online features such as cloud saves or multiplayer, this policy will be updated before that feature ships and the game will ask before syncing anything.
Game by game
What each game and app stores, sends and asks for, in detail.
PrismShot · Android, iOS
Game progress (on-device save)
PrismShot does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or any contact details.
- Your progress (levels completed, stars, shards, lives, shop purchases and settings) is stored only on your device.
- We do not upload, sync or back up this save data to any server we operate. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
- Share clips are short videos the game makes on your device from your own best shot. They are only sent anywhere if you choose to share them, using your phone's own share menu.
- If online leaderboards or cloud saves are added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that feature ships.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
PrismShot offers optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Watching an ad is always your choice; the game works without it. What the ad network may collect, and your choices on iOS and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, are described under Advertising in mobile games above. Google's handling of this data is described in its partner sites policy.
Analytics and crash reports (Firebase)
PrismShot uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the game is played and to fix crashes. This data is not linked to your name or any account, and the game never sends anything you type.
- Gameplay events: levels started and finished, revives, boosters used, shards spent, rewarded ads watched, running out of lives, Daily Board plays, and shares.
- Game summary: your highest level, total stars, and the laser colour and cannon you have equipped.
- Collected automatically by Firebase: an app instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, session times, and approximate location such as country or region, derived from your IP address.
- Crash reports: when the game crashes or hits an error, Crashlytics records the error details and the state of the device at that moment.
Retention and deletion. Google processes this data for us and keeps it under Firebase's retention settings before deleting it. To ask for your analytics data to be deleted, email dev@hollowbrightstudios.com or use the Support page. Google's handling is described in its Firebase privacy information.

What the ad network may collect, and your choices on iOS and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, are described under Advertising in mobile games above. Google's handling of this data is described in its partner sites policy.
Gameplay and leaderboard data (Supabase)
Trace uses a cloud database, Supabase, to store non-personal game data: the leaderboard tag you choose and your high scores, so they can appear on the global leaderboard, and crash logs that help us fix bugs. No account, email address or real name is needed. Supabase's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Data retention. We keep leaderboard data (tags and high scores) for as long as you use the game and as long as it is needed to run the global leaderboard. Crash logs are kept temporarily and are periodically deleted once the related bugs have been fixed.
Data deletion. You can ask for your tag, high scores and any associated analytics data to be permanently deleted from our database at any time. Email dev@hollowbrightstudios.com or use the Support page; we confirm by email and complete deletion within 30 days.

Advanced Interval Timer · Android, iOS
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Advanced Interval Timer offers optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. Watching an ad is always your choice; the app works without it. What the ad network may collect, and your choices on iOS and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, are described under Advertising in mobile games above. Google's handling of this data is described in its partner sites policy.
Microphone and audio recordings
Advanced Interval Timer asks for access to your device's microphone solely so you can record custom audio cues (for example, voice announcements) for your own workouts.
- All audio recordings are processed and stored entirely on your device.
- We do not transmit, upload, listen to or share your recordings with any external server or third party.

In-app purchases (RevenueCat)
Advanced Interval Timer offers premium features through in-app purchases. We use a third-party service, RevenueCat, to validate your purchase status across devices.
- RevenueCat may collect anonymous App Store or Google Play receipt data, an anonymous app user ID and basic device metrics to verify your PRO status. RevenueCat's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
- We do not collect, process or have access to your card number, billing name or payment details. All payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).
Third-party SDKs: Google AdMob (optional rewarded video ads), RevenueCat (validating in-app purchases across devices).

Analytics and crash data is processed by the provider named above and kept under that provider's retention settings. Save data lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the game. Support emails are deleted once the request is closed.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion of any data tied to you, from any of our games, at any time. The Support page explains what to send and what happens next. We confirm by email and complete deletion within 30 days.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for its processing. Email us and we will help; we do not require you to create an account or prove anything beyond what is needed to find your records.
Changes
We may update this policy as our games change. The effective date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Changes that matter will also be noted in the relevant game's store listing or update notes.
